Things to do at Lake Louise Ski Resort
Lake Louise Ski Resort is one of three SkiBig3 areas alongside Banff Sunshine and Mt Norquay, and it runs roughly November to May depending on snowfall. It's about 58 km (45 minutes) from Banff, with SkiBig3 shuttles connecting from town hotels in winter.
In summer the same slopes reopen for the Lake Louise Sightseeing Gondola, a chairlift ride up Whitehorn Mountain with wildlife-viewing decks and views back over the Bow Valley and Lake Louise itself; return tickets run roughly 45 to 65 CAD per adult depending on season.
During the July-August peak, the base area also doubles as an overflow car park for the lake, since roadside parking at Lake Louise fills early and is reservation-limited. A Parks Canada pass (~11 CAD per adult per day) is required for the whole area, on top of any lift or gondola ticket.
